The world is made of small fragments.
The handiwork of artisans, the landscapes of Japan, inherited materials and memories; ARCELF is a jewelry brand that re-edits these fragments of Japanese beauty into contemporary forms.
Every collection begins with an encounter with a craft.
We travel across Japan, visiting workshops and meeting artisans. There, we discover not only materials and techniques, but also the cultures, landscapes, and philosophies that live within each place. From these encounters, we create jewelry that carries these stories into the present.
Our purpose is not simply to preserve craft, but to create a cycle in which it continues to be chosen, cherished, and passed on to future generations.
That is the future ARCELF hopes to help build.

Semi-precious stones hand-polished by Japanese artisans, the techniques of Nishijin weaving, rare urushi lacquer, ceramics, and metals shaped by time.

Founder / Designer
Yukari Fujii
Born and raised in Kyoto. Influenced by her mother, a textile designer, and relatives involved in the kimono trade, she grew up close to textiles and craft. Her career began at ISSEY MIYAKE, after which she became an independent editor and writer.
She has worked across leading fashion media including VOGUE JAPAN, as well as brand-owned platforms, leading projects from concept to execution. Through the independent project JAPAN MADE, she has visited craft studios across Japan, building a deep understanding of materials, techniques, and cultural context.
Traveling across Japan to document traditional crafts, she witnessed both the beauty of these techniques and the difficulty of sustaining them. Wanting to go beyond telling their stories, and to build a system that returns work to the places where craft is made, she founded ARCELF.
Through collaborations with craftspeople across Japan, she reinterprets inherited materials, techniques, and cultural stories into contemporary jewelry, creating a bridge between Japanese craftsmanship and the world.
