TSUZURE Bloom Earrings — 綴 —

In a Nishijin weaving atelier, bundles of silk thread rest beside the artisan. Their soft volume carried the form of a flower—these earrings were born from that memory.

The five petals forming each bloom are carefully shaped to reveal subtle differences in expression, while their surface finishes evoke the delicate flow of silk. A gradient shifting from gold to silver, together with three diamonds set at the center of each flower, adds a quiet radiance at the ear.

As the angle changes, the textures of the petals and the layers of color reveal different expressions, while the diamonds shimmer delicately whenever they catch the light. Like two flowers quietly blooming at the ears, the earrings balance presence with a sense of lightness.

This piece brings together the sculptural vision of Katsuhiko Sakamoto, one of Japan’s leading contemporary master craftsmen, and the refined handwork of artisans in Kofu.
